What Our Customers Think
Why We Love East Setauket, NY
About East Setauket
East Setauket, New York, is a hamlet located in the town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County on Long Island. The area was originally inhabited by the Setalcott Native American tribe in the 17th century. It was later settled by Europeans in 1655, led by John Scott, a British nobleman. The community grew around agriculture, shipbuilding, and shellfishing industries. The area is rich in Revolutionary War history, with several structures still standing today that played significant roles during that period, including the Setauket Presbyterian Church and Cemetery and the Caroline Church and Cemetery.
